Blinking Lights And Other Revelations (2023 Reissue)
Eels
E Works / PIAS
E's self-described masterwork, finally available as the definitive vinyl reissue it deserves. Blinking Lights and Other Revelations — a 33-track double album released in 2005 — is Eels' most ambitious and emotionally comprehensive statement: a sprawling meditation on God, faith, family, loss and the mundane mysteries of everyday life, recorded mostly in E's Los Angeles basement over several years. It features collaborations with Peter Buck, Tom Waits and John Sebastian, and includes some of the most nakedly beautiful songs E has written — Railroad Man, Theme for a Pretty Girl That Makes You Believe God Exists, The Stars Shine in the Sky Tonight.
This 2023 reissue is pressed on crystal violet (opaque purple) vinyl across three LPs, limited to 3,500 copies. Accompanied by a 32-page lyric and photo booklet in 12" size, housed in a gatefold fold-box. Mastered by Kassian Troyer. On E Works / [PIAS].
