Kiss Of Death (20th Anniversary Edition)
Motörhead
BMG
Twenty years on from its original release, Kiss of Death is finally getting the anniversary treatment it deserves — and arriving at a particularly poignant moment. Motörhead's 18th studio album, released in August 2006, captured Lemmy Kilmister, Phil Campbell and Mikkey Dee at their most ferociously assured: confident, crushing, unmistakably themselves. Standout tracks including Sucker, Trigger and the haunting ballad God Was Never On Your Side (featuring guest appearances from Mike Inez of Alice in Chains and C.C. DeVille of Poison) remain some of the finest songs in the band's later catalogue. Produced by Cameron Webb, it charted at number 4 in Germany — the band's highest German chart position ever.
This 20th Anniversary Edition has been newly half-speed mastered from the original tapes by a specialist cutting engineer, ensuring maximum fidelity and depth across both discs. Expanded with new liner notes by Classic Rock's Dave Ling, paying tribute to the extraordinary contribution of Phil Campbell, who passed away in March 2026 at the age of 64 after 31 years as Motörhead's sole guitarist. The vinyl edition also features a complete bonus live LP — Motörhead's full performance at Lowlands Festival in Biddinghuizen, Netherlands, in 2007, officially available on vinyl for the very first time. Presented as a heavyweight double LP set with gatefold packaging. Out 3rd July 2026 on BMG.
