Live At Neumos (2011)
The Head And The Heart
Sub Pop
Seattle indie-folk icons The Head and the Heart commemorate the 15th anniversary of their landmark, RIAA-certified platinum debut album with the release of a 2011 live show at their beloved hometown venue Neumos — the local spot where the band played some of their very first shows. Recorded live on 14th January 2011, right at the moment the band was breaking out from Sub Pop-signed local favourites to a global phenomenon, this double album captures the raw, communal energy that made them so compelling: rich vocal harmonies, violin, acoustic guitars and an audience who could feel they were witnessing something extraordinary.
Live at Neumos (2011) features all the songs from The Head and the Heart's platinum-selling self-titled album, plus two previously unreleased recordings — the original song 'Long Time Away' and a cover of Jimmie Rodgers' 'T is for Texas (Blue Yodel #1)'. Mixed by Steven Aguilar. Mastered by Tim Smiley. For fans of Mumford & Sons, The Avett Brothers, The Lumineers and Iron & Wine. The Sub Pop Loser Edition is pressed on clear vinyl with an exclusive poster. Out 10th July 2026 on Sub Pop Records.
